Garry and Kerry Ford welcome you to their restaurant. After many years owning the renowned White Morph Restaurant in Kaikoura, the Ford’s decided it was time to bring their unique approach to contemporary dining, to their home town of Nelson.

Kerry and Garry are hands on operators with Garry commanding the kitchen and Kerry running the front of house.

Teenage children Amber and Cameron also have a hand in the business.

Garry Ford has won numerous awards over the years. These awards speak of his commitment to transforming the highest quality local produce into superb cuisine.

That said, Garry's greatest satisfaction is not the winning of awards, but of delivering something special on every plate.

The White Morph - Kaikoura

Due to a severe fire and a signaficant loss the White Morph Restaurant is currently closed for business. We hope to be back open in the new year better than ever after 12 years of award winning dinning.

FORD'S have just won their first Lamb and Beef award, the first of many we hope. The high standard award is achieved from anonoymous assessments so you can always expect tasty, skilfully composed and superbly presented New Zealand beef and lamb dishes.

Assessors comment "This was an outstanding meal, featuring perfectly cooked, delicious beef, which married beautifully with the 'meaty' texture of the crispy mushroom crumble....Presentation was simple but appetising, and the overall balance of flavours and textures were faultless"

"Another highly successful dish, showing creativity and flair in its composition and execution. The rump was perfectly cooked and succluent.....enjoyable dining experience, highly deserving of the Excellence Award."
